(904) 246-6545

  1. For minors (under 18): A parent or guardian must accompany them during the surgical procedure and remain in the waiting room. Minors without a parent or guardian present will need to reschedule their appointment.
  2. Sedative procedures: Patients must arrange for a designated driver to accompany them for the entire visit. Those arriving without a ride will be rescheduled.
  3. Fasting: Patients scheduled for surgery should refrain from eating or drinking anything after midnight prior to the procedure, including water. Compliance is essential for safety. Alcohol consumption should be avoided at least 24 hours before surgery.
  4. Dress code: Opt for comfortable attire, preferably a short sleeve button-up shirt to accommodate vital sign monitoring equipment during surgery.
  5. Attire and accessories: Avoid wearing makeup, nail polish, flip-flops, or sandals on the day of surgery. Leave valuables at home and refrain from wearing contacts.
  6. Medication: Continue taking prescribed medications unless directed otherwise by the healthcare provider.

These guidelines are designed to ensure your safety and optimize your surgical experience.
